Our Story
Founded in 2020 by Yvette Miley and Arletha Miller, the Miley Miller Foundation was inspired by their mothers, Edna Whitaker and Mary Miller—women who deeply believed that education could open doors to opportunity, meaningful careers, and self-sufficiency.
MMF launched by naming scholarships in their mothers’ honor, supporting traditional and non-traditional students at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and Palm Beach State College. To date, more than 30 students have received direct educational and housing support to remain enrolled and pursue their goals.
What began with education continues to grow—because education builds individuals, strengthens families, and sustains communities.

We connect individuals with the resources, tools, and guidance needed to pursue educational and vocational success. Believing that true empowerment comes through opportunity, the foundation provides mentorship, training, and financial assistance to help people realize their full potential and create lasting change in their lives.
