Education is a Bridge Between Potential and What is Possible
OUR MISSION
Founded in 2020, The Miley Miller Foundation exists
to remove barriers that prevent individuals—particularly students and adult learners—from pursuing, continuing, and completing educational and career pathways. Through scholarships, emergency and housing assistance, youth engagement, and community support, The Miley Miller Foundation helps people at every stage of life cross the bridge toward stability, growth, and possibility.

Education is the Heart of Our Work
Education is not a single moment—it is a lifelong pathway. By addressing both educational access and the surrounding needs that support learning, the Miley Miller Foundation
helps individuals not only enroll—but persist, complete, and thrive.
We work to ensure the pathway remains accessible by supporting:
Forward for Good in 2026
In 2026, the Miley Miller Foundation will continue to deepen its commitment to education and empowerment by expanding year-round programming that removes barriers to learning, stability, and opportunity. Building on lessons from prior years, MMF’s strategy focuses on intentional growth, stronger partnerships, and sustained community presence.
Education remains the Foundation’s anchor. MMF views education not as a single milestone, but as a lifelong pathway—one that is strengthened when individuals, families, and communities are supported together.

OUR STORY
Founded in 2020 by Yvette Miley and Arletha Miller, the Miley Miller Foundation was inspired by their mothers, Edna Whitaker and Mary Miller—women who deeply believed that education could open doors to opportunity, meaningful careers, and self-sufficiency.
MMF launched by naming scholarships in their mothers’ honor, supporting traditional and non-traditional students at the University of Missouri–St. Louis and Palm Beach State College. To date, more than 30 students have received direct educational and housing support to remain enrolled and pursue their goals.
What began with education continues to grow—because education builds individuals, strengthens families, and sustains communities.
